I loved it! That could be the entire review and it would appropriately sum up how I felt about this book. It was great, a mix of comedy, angst, heart-warming and heart-breaking moments that all equaled out to an amazing story. I was interested in Jacob since his grand entrance in the previous book (flamingo disaster and all) and so I was excited to see what he would be like as a character once we had his POV. There was so much character development and depth than I imagined for both Jacob and Levi and it was fantastic to get to know both of them so well. I loved them as a couple and seeing how they both confronted challenges in their lives both separately and together. They brought out the best in each other and there was a lot of personal growth that happened because of their relationship. As always, the town and it’s characters had me laughing often as I made my way through the story and it helped balance out the more angsty parts that came up with Jacob’s storyline. Overall, I was left feeling really satisfied as a reader and am already looking forward to the next book! I HIGHLY recommend this as your next read. Was not a fan. Almost 50 chapters and felt this could’ve been wrapped up in 20, it was long and drawn out and a lot chapters were not needed. However, it was the character Jacob that really ruined it, the author wanted this delicate looking man to be so dominate but it just came out him being rude and obnoxious. He ruined the book and he was one of the main characters. Skip it.
